Modular Structure Of The Estoril Open 2016
Normetal was once again responsible this year for the manufacture and assembly of the modular structure and the removable stands for the Estoril Millenium Open 2016.
The Estoril Millenium Open 2016 is the most important tennis tournament in Portugal. The competition was held for the second consecutive time in Estoril and not in Oeiras where it was played between the years 1990 and 2014. Important players such as the Spaniards Fernando Verdasco or Nicolas Almagro were present this year, and the latter was proclaimed champion of the tournament for the first time in his career. The tournament was held between April 23 and May 1, 2016.
The same as every year, the tournament organisation entrusted us with the installation of the modular structures that complete the facilities of the Estoril tennis club. From the moment we received the order, the commercial department took charge of managing all the customer requirements and adapting them to the space of the club. Our company works as a consultant and always gives the best solution to each of the requirements.
For this project, we first manufactured the modular structures in our Portuguese plant and then carried out the installation in the club. The installation process is very rapid and is one of the principal advantages of our structures. For this project, we manufactured the portable changing rooms, the modular booths, and the removable stands.
At the time of assembling the stands, our team first designed everything to guarantee maximum visibility for all the spectators.
We then carried out the assembly of the stands, considering the safety of all the spectators as the priority. With this purpose, we have a team of technicians and engineers specialised in the safety of this type of assembly. Our systems of grandstands and galleries can be readily configured to adapt to each space. They are provided with reinforcing frames to ensure the longitudinal stability, and risers to prevent the fall of objects and facilitate cleaning.
After every installation, it only remains for us to enjoy a great show and to congratulate the event for its great organisation.
