Certification of Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems
Last October, an audit of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment and Safety) was conducted by the entity, SGS.
Standards according to which the Management System was simultaneously certified through integrated audits:
* Quality: IS0 9001
* Environment: ISO 14001
* Occupational Health and Safety: OHSAS 18001
Successful extension of the scope of certification to the Lisbon and Algarve offices represented a great challenge, as well as renewal of ISO 9001 (Quality) with respect to the demands of the regulatory modifications implemented in 2015.
Certification of the Integrated Management System according to relevant standards demonstrates Normetal’s insistence on efficiency and on the satisfaction of both its workers and customers, while at the same time improving its image.
We should highlight that the involvement and determination of everyone across the entire organisation was necessary for the success of this certification.
